Corona Quarantine Site Used Former Vietnamese Refugee Shelter
The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) is currently building a special facility for corona virus sufferers on Galang Island, Riau Islands. This place will utilize the location of a former Vietnamese refugee shelter that functioned in 1979 to 1996.
Director General of Cipta Karya Ministry of PUPR Danis H Sumadilaga explained, the special corona facility will later be divided into two separate areas, namely for observation and support buildings.
